The Eaton Fire started at 6:15 PM PST on January 7, 2025 in Eaton Canyon, CA. As of February 19, 2025, the Eaton Fire has been fully contained. The fire resulted in the tragic loss of 17 lives and caused injuries to nine firefighters. It scorched over 14,000 acres and led to the destruction of 9,413 structures, with an additional 1,074 structures reported as damaged.
